In Cyprus, there is the opportunity of studying in English at any level of education, from kindergarten to university. Cyprus’ secondary English schools offer high quality education and world recognition that allows students to enter top universities worldwide. Cyprus has the highest percentage (population wise) of students studying in British universities. Students attending those schools will be able to become excellent in English and obtain either the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the GCSE Diploma. In Cyprus, already the classrooms of the English schools have welcomed students of various nationalities since they are attracted by the unique combination of quality teaching, low tuition fees and cost of living.

Tertiary Education

Universities and Colleges in Cyprus offer a variety of programs taught in English both at graduate and postgraduate level. In most cases, the minimum years required to obtain a bachelor’s degree are four and one for a master’s degree. Each department has set its own requirements to validate that the candidates will be able to meet the demands of the institution. In case, a student has a lower level of English than the one required in order for him/her to be able to attend the courses, English language courses can be offered by the institution.
